Larian Studios – one of the world’s most recognized RPG game developers – established its Polish studio at Elektrownia Powiśle. The international video game company has leased over 1,000 sqm of office space in Building A. The transaction ranks among the key new agreements concluded within the project this year, while the office component of the Warsaw complex remains fully leased.
Founded in 1996 in Ghent, Belgium, Larian Studios currently employs over 550 specialists across seven studios worldwide. The company is best known for the award-winning Divinity universe and recipient of over 300 Game of the Year plaudits, Baldur’s Gate 3. The new office at Elektrownia Powiśle will serve as the base of the company’s operations in Poland.
“Larian is, above all, about people. Each of our studio locations has its own distinct character, shaped by the energy and experience of its team, yet all operate within one shared model – built on collaboration, real impact on the project and a strong sense of ownership. The new headquarters at Elektrownia Powiśle will allow us to create a space where this ‘Larian way’ of developing games can fully thrive, while also supporting further operational growth and collaboration between our studios across different time zones. We aim to build a strong team in Poland, actively engage with the local gamedev community, and remain an integral part of our global structure. Elektrownia Powiśle offers an environment suited to the needs of an international organization thinking long term about its development,” says Urszula Jach-Jaki, Head of Studio Larian Warsaw.
The choice of Elektrownia Powiśle formed part of a strategic approach to location. The complex offers infrastructure essential for international operations, including a hotel, conference facilities, long-term rental apartments and an extensive food and beverage offering. Its mixed-use model meets the needs of global organizations building teams in Poland.
“The growth of international technology companies in Warsaw is reflected in the tenant structure at Elektrownia Powiśle. Larian Studios is a globally recognized brand with a strong position in the gaming industry and its presence further strengthens the project’s profile as a destination for companies operating on an international scale. This is an important office transaction for us – we are talking about a global technology company expanding its operations in Poland under a long-term model, as confirmed by a long-term lease agreement. We are proud to welcome Larian Studios to the roster of blue-chip tenants at the complex,” emphasizes Kajetan Michalski, Senior Leasing Manager and Asset Manager at White Star Real Estate, the investor and property manager of Elektrownia Powiśle.
Office tenants at Elektrownia Powiśle include Dentons, Douglas, Guess, Levi’s, Sony Music Entertainment – which has recently launched a state-of-the-art recording studio at the complex – as well as LipCo Foods. The addition of Larian Studios further strengthens the presence of companies from the creative industries and technology sectors within the project.
