Deka Immobilien Investment GmbH has entrusted White Star Real Estate with the comprehensive management of Forum Gliwice, one of the largest retail and leisure centres in Silesia. Since September 2026, in addition to its existing Leasing role, WSRE has also been responsible for Property Management, including the centre’s Marketing, as well as Project Management.
Forum Gliwice Shopping Centre, part of the Deka Immobilien portfolio, opened in 2007 and is one of Silesia’s leading retail destinations. White Star Real Estate has been responsible for managing the property since September 2026. The new agreement broadens the scope of the existing relationship, with WSRE remaining responsible for leasing the centre. This means that a single team now oversees all key areas, from the property’s day-to-day operations and tenant relations to the continued development of the centre’s retail offer and spaces.

The appointment of White Star Real Estate as Property Manager of Forum Gliwice marks another step in the continued expansion of the company’s Property Management business, both in Poland and across Central and Eastern Europe.

Asset Management services for Forum Gliwice are provided by Hawksworth, an independent advisory firm specialising in the European shopping centre market, which also managed the tender process for the Property Management services on behalf of Deka Immobilien.

White Star Real Estate presented a cohesive approach encompassing all these areas. Continuity was also an important consideration, given WSRE’s existing responsibility for leasing and its knowledge of the tenants and the centre’s leasing situation. Forum Gliwice offers close to 43,000 sqm of space and is currently over 97% occupied. The centre is home to more than 120 shops and service outlets, while its leisure offer includes a 13-screen Cinema City multiplex. Located in the centre of Gliwice, the property also provides 970 underground parking spaces.
“Forum Gliwice is another project on which we are working with Deka Immobilien in Central and Eastern Europe. In the Czech Republic, we are responsible for managing The Park Prague, an office complex previously built and developed by White Star Real Estate. As a result, we have a strong understanding of the owner’s standards and expectations. At Forum, our aim is to combine high-quality day-to-day management with the continued development of the tenant mix and marketing initiatives that strengthen the centre’s role in the life of the city. One of our first initiatives will be to develop a new design for the food court. In shopping centres serving regional markets, the food and beverage offer supports the core retail function, enhances the visitor experience and creates a natural social space. Further details of the centre’s development plans, including the planned changes to the food court, will be announced as work progresses.
